Biography

Jenny Brown’s term of office as a member of the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners began in 2006. A founding shareholder of Brown & Silbergeld, P.C. in Bridgeport, Mrs. Brown has been a municipal attorney since 1996, representing a number of local townships, boroughs and cities. A 1988 graduate of Middlebury College, Mrs. Brown also graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1992.

Mrs. Brown has resided in Gladwyne since 1997, has been a director of the Gladwyne Civic Association and has served as a member of the Township’s Cable TV Advisory Committee.

Biography

Mr. Taylor joined the Board of Commissioners on September 28, 2006, filling the seat vacated by Board President and Ward One Commissioner Matthew J. Comisky. An investment real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, he is a director of that firm’s national retail group and is also a licensed real estate broker.

A 1975 graduate from St. Lawrence University, he also received his Masters Degree in Government from Villanova University in 1977,and graduated from Temple Law School in 1980. Lower Merion Township has been Mr. Taylor’s home for 22 years, where he has been an active member of the Penn Valley Civic Association. Until his appointment to the Board of Commissioners, Mr. Taylor also served as a member of the Township’s Historical Architectural Review Board, or HARB.

He and his wife, Ilene Wasserman, are the parents of Erin, who attends Tufts University and Matthew, a student at Lower Merion High School.

Biography

Commissioner V. Scott Zelov joined the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners in 2006. After serving as the CEO of a manufacturing company, Mr. Zelov is currently a business consultant. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1979 and graduated from the Cornell Graduate School of Business in 1981.

Mr. Zelov is a member of the Montgomery County Planning Commission, and serves ex-officio on the boards of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute and Ludington Library. He serves as a Board Member for both Cliveden of the National Trust and Pennsylvanians for Effective Government. He has resided in Haverford since 1998 with his wife, Liz, and children Scottie, Lily and Seneker.

Biography

Lewis F. Gould, Jr., Esq. has served as a member of the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners since January 2, 1996. Mr. Gould chairs the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Duane Morris LLP. He has focused his practice for more than 30 years on intellectual property law, with emphasis on domestic and international patent and trademark matters. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple University.

Mr. Gould graduated from Temple University in 1962 and from Dickinson School of Law in 1966.

A thirty year resident of Lower Merion Township, Mr. Gould is active in numerous community and civic organizations.

Mr. Gould and his wife are the parents of Jodi Monster and Douglas Gould.
