Lyme Disease lecture

The Gladwyne Civic Association had Douglas Fearn from The Lyme Disease Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania come and speak to us about Lyme Disease at our April meeting. Doug’s organization, “The Lyme Disease Association of Southeastern PA” is an all-volunteer support and information group supporting the Lyme Disease community.

Some of their methods are controversial in the medical world.

Our civic is fortunate to have an infectious disease doctor, Dr. Larry Livornese, who attended our civic lecture and his remarks on Doug’s talk is attached. Also attached, is Dr. Livornese’s resume.

Also, our local Veterinarian has responded to some questions that the public asked in regard to animals and Lyme Disease.
